Are you fully registered and qualified ? 

Yes.  we have been working in the industry for over 17 years! Our engineers are all fully trained to industry recognised standards and experienced. MIE  Electrical is an Approved Member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors. We undergo rigorous annual assessments by third party engineers to ensure our skills are second to none.  We are part “P” compliant.

How do I know if I need a rewire ? 

More common in older properties, signs you may need a rewire can be:


  • Shocks from switches and/or sockets

  • Fuses tripping

  • Damaged, worn or exposed cables

What is PAT ? 

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the testing of electrical appliances that can be disconnected from its electrical supply or one that can be moved. It checks to see if the appliances are in good working order and are safe to use.

Keeping these appliances in good working order is essential for landlords, business owners or managers of premises and should be conducted on a regular business.
